Other opportunities will present themselves. Who can say what's better? Life's the sort of game where you set your own victory conditions, and the things you consider successes change on a daily basis.

If you want your love, I say you go for it, like you have been, and disregard the others. In a way, being presented with worse options, especially while being told moving on's the better move, really shows you're on the right path. I wouldn't give up on him.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to share a quick story with you, mostly because there aren't many others with whom I'd discuss it.

I was out with friends tonight and met a really nice girl, Laura, or Lauren, with whom I hit it off rather well. A friend of mine came over and started chatting with the two of us and, more or less, torpedo'd any hope of getting her number, which I wanted at the time. A far more sober version of myself, an hour later, realizes I didn't want to get with her, but I did tell my friend that he's the worst wingman ever at the time of said encounter. He told me, 'Aren't you already with someone?'

He's right. I'm already with the Social Worker. I was surprised at his comment, since we've only known each other a few weeks, but it really hits home now. It makes me wonder if I manifested his intervention. Is such a thing possible?

I live in a high-rise downtown (it doesn't matter where), and there's a doorman at the front door who's on duty until about midnight during the week and, I think, 2am or so on the weekends. I ran my story past him in brief, saying she and I are on a break and describing my feelings and frustrations, and he was super supportive. He essentially told me, 'Sometimes you need that separation to understand what you have. You need to really think about why you broke up and if you even want her again.'

It reinforced within me one simple fact: I do want her back in my life. It's the Chemist and the Social Worker until the end of time, and I'll do whatever it takes to make this happen. I've changed a shitton, and I'm aware of what went wrong and how to fix it, how to be better and stronger than before.

We can do this. We will do this. It's only a matter of time. Days, if we're lucky.

Thanks for reading, everyone. I appreciate your comments and support every day.

So I don't know if this is a thing, but it's been kinda nice when I've done it inadvertently, and I'm going to start, this week, hitting it hard.

I have a commute of about 40min, and the majority of it is freeway driving in the small hours, meaning there isn't much to avoid on the roadways. Anyway, I notice my mind wandering to my love and starting to imagine her in the apartment, or in the car, or on her way down to meet me for dinner, etc. I know visualization's supposed to be stronger when your eyes are closed, which I can't do while driving, but it seems to make me feel better.

I really just wanted to share this idea with you all and ask for your thoughts. Do you do anything like this? If so, do you find it beneficial? I'm pretty new to active visualization/manifestation in general, so I'm curious what you all think. Thanks in advance.

Thank you all for your support so far. I'm distancing myself from Facebook and, whenever a thought of the current situation comes into mind, I try to allow it to simply roll off of me, and I'm seeking the right time.

Pixel, I'm actually doing a lot of visualizing and RS stuff, so I love the suggestion that it's working, that she's reacting to it. It makes a lot of sense, and I believe you fully on that, even though we're not supposed to cling to signs. The vibrational work does feel pretty good overall.

I have had some success improving my life. I got a new job, moved into a very nice apartment in a new city, and I'm making friends and all. Honestly, I'm more confident and happier than I have been in ages.

On that note, when you guys are feeling down and need a distraction, what do you do? I've started running a bit and hiding in books/movies, as well as going out with friends, but they're short-term solutions. What works for you guys?

So I'm having a lot of trouble just ignoring reality, especially after she unfriended me on Facebook this week. That thought, while completely unimportant, keeps imposing itself on my mind and I'm having a difficult time avoiding it, even though it has helped me quit stalking her on social media.

Does anyone have any advice on ignoring this reality? What do you do to stop thinking about unpleasant aspects of your current reality so you can manifest something better? I get the feeling this is slowing me down this week, despite my other progress.

Unfortunately, Jim's right. It's so easy to stalk like that, but, y'know, if you really feel into it as it happens, especially right afterward, it doesn't feel so good.

Just focus and manifest, and read some of the stories on here. They've helped me quite a bit.

So immediately after posting that, I went and found Veronica's video on RS. It was fun the last 10min or so. I started with a back rub that progressed and...well...my whole body got very warm and tingly. It feels amazing, so this is definitely something I need to make part of my daily rituals. Thank you so much for the advice.

This is fantastic to read. I've felt something similar on occasion, too. I'm in the process of starting another 25-day challenge with some guidance from Veronica, and it's happened at least once.

I'm thankful you think so, Susie! She and I always sleep better when we're together, and, despite the distance, it's beneficial for me. It feels wonderful, and that connection with her is really what I'm seeking, beyond everything else.

I haven't experimented much with RS. I need to find Veronica's videos and give it a shot. Maybe this evening I can do that. Do you have any advice on performing it?

Also, one thing that tends to trip me up is self-doubt. I'll get into position or start imagining she's in the apartment or we're going to dinner in a bit--tonight, I'm making one of her favourite dishes, actually--and then I get all self-conscious and stop the flow of good energy. Have you (or, anyone, really) dealt with this?
