So we are currently friends and meet up for lunch every once in awhile. My biggest obstacle right now is trying to remain postive as he is involved with someone else. Before I discovered LOA and Veronica's challenge I would always initiate contact first and every time we would meet up for lunch I would always make an issue about this other female. This past Saturday we met up for a quick lunch (it would always frustrate me that he would make it so quick but I didn't let it bother me this time) it was the first time hanging out after discovering LOA so I did not bring up this other female once I'm sure he was shocked! But anyways after going our separate ways he said I'll give you a text during the week. So I was expecting a text but by Tuesday my old self would have found an excuse to contact him! But since we shouldn't do the contacting first I did not...and it didn't bother me one bit. I am spending time with a guy...I'm so thankful for him. Even tho my ultimate goal is to end up with my ex he keeps my mind at ease. I don't obsess over my ex or this new female because i spend time with this other person and we go out and do things. I don't like to see it as I'm using him. Anyways I had plans to meet his new person for a hike and as I was getting ready to head out I started having thoughts of receiving a text from my ex...I didn't want this text to pop up while hanging with this other person so iPhone has this really cool option where you can silence a text or call from an Individal person. The text will still be there but it won't ring and same for a call. So I literally said "act as if he was going to text me" as I was silencing his contact. My ex and I have been in each other's lives for 11 years I know him better than anybody else! If he was ever planning to text me he would text me in the AM! This was 3:30pm but I still did it. I arrived at the hiking spot and checked my phone like normal, like anybody would. And I saw a text notification...I was like that's weird I didn't hear it ring....opened up my text app and sure enough it was him!!!! So out of his character to text me around 4:00pm especially that he gets off of work at 5:00 his main focus would be finish up and leave for the day! I was so shocked because I believe I manifested this text!
