Falling asleep during RS

Hello people
I know I'm usually offering advice but today I would really appreciate your help.

I still do RS on my boyfriend but recently seem to always fall asleep during the technique.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Re: Falling asleep during RS

When you fall asleep during any meditation, it simply means you're tired. I don't think it's a good or bad thing. Maybe you just need more rest.

Re: Falling asleep during RS

I've wondered about this as well.Β  I've started back doing RS this week and I dosed off a couple of times. Really,Β  I don't think it's an issue. Your subcon. mind continues on..

Re: Falling asleep during RS

Bumping because I have the same issue!Β  I'm using several of Lanie's meditations and no matter what position I'm in, I end up falling asleep.Β  Is it possible that I'm NOT sleep but in a deeper state of meditation?Β  What I'm concerned about is during the meditation you're supposed to tell your person what you want them to tell you.Β  I don't know if I'm actually doing that if I'm asleep/in a deep state of meditation.

Re: Falling asleep during RS

Is it right before bedtime? Last night I came across a YouTube video on how if our last thought before bed is the reality we want to have we're basically meditating on it for a good 8 hrs. Since it's our reality as we fall asleep, we're IN that reality all that time. Which makes sense. Either way, I don't think it's a bad thing. What's really happening is that we're deeply connecting in that state and sleep is the most non-judgmental and relaxed state we can be in. A place where manifestations are most powerful. Which only would empower the reality we're thinking about. I've often fallen asleep the past week listening to meds before I go to bed and yeah, haha. It's all good.

Thanks for the reassurance. I'm going to just trust that it's all working out.
