Help

I seem to have one bad memory I can't shake of and it invades my mind all the time.
What to do?

Re: Help

Recreate that memory. Rewrite it and visualize it being as how you would have wanted it to be. Do it over and over for days or weeks if you have to until it becomes a positive result for you. Until you can no longer have bad feelings about it any longer. I have done this with past arguments that I had with my love. It works!!!

Re: Help

There isn't really a point in thinking about the past anyway. It has no influnce on the future. It only influences the future, when you recreate it in your powerful now. You can just choose to no longer think about the past and shift your thoughts to different things.

Re: Help

There are time that I have one memory and it makes me feel a little bit fearful. No matter how many times I tried to rewrite it still just popped right back up. And at the worst times too! I found that if i shifted my thoughts or just thought about something that makes me happier really turned it around. Also, take some deep breaths.Β

Re: Help

Practice meditation. The more you do it then more skilled you will become at silencing the mind and being in the now moment. Some days I meditate on for a few hours and I feel completely balanced afterwards.
