I tried it with a 3rd party but had no success. They moved in together actually since I tried it and I decided to let it go even though I'm convinced that their relationship won't last anyway due to emotional and psychological issues he carries around through his relationships. Not sure what other factors might play into it.

It's ok, everything will turn out for the best. I'm assuming there is a reason why because I deserve much more anyway.
