I contacted him but no respone

I made a mistake....my bf broke up with me 3 months back and there has been no contact ever since. But yesterday I had a bad day and since I was really lonely at night I texted him. He said he was out at that moment and he would text me later. But its almost 24 hrs and no response. (He has been online since last night and the whole day too) I feel like I have lost all my power and feel a little broken. What do I do now? Should I confront him?

I'm so sorry, DMR, I know what a painful feeling it is. But you haven't lost your power. Don't think of it that way. You didn't text him a second time, you haven't asked him "Why didn't you text me back later" or anything. You still have your power. You chose not to chase and that's power too. It's okay. Do not confront him. Just let it go.

And your guy will come around. Keep visualizing and try to remember this incident isn't an indicator of how things will play out in the future. Anything can happen.

Thank you for your comforting answer..The earlier me would have confronted him right away but I am keeping a control of my emotions now. It still hurts though

I know, I've been there too, it's brutal. But think of how far you've come! Be proud of that because it's a great accomplishment!

And look positively towards the future, it will help you feel a little better.
