Dwelling on the past had proven a bit of a problem for me too. The whole things been a struggle. I make progress but then slip back. I'm impatient and struggle to maintain forward momentum. I DO believe I can do it...I just need to be consistent. Any suggestions on forgetting the past and maintaining forward momentum would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, as long as you aren't coming from a place of desperation or fearing you'll never hear from them again if you don't text first.
