I go with what Edgar cayce says about it and it seems to be exactly what he said.

We are of the stars, therefore the stars influence us a lot, but our own free will is much more powerful than their influence so if you want something different than the stars forecast you can make that happen because we a powerful, much more than this one body as we are everything and everyone all at once.

So basically, astrology is valid. I believe in it. But your will is stronger than the influence of the stars.
