I do believe in LOA and I know it works from past experiences. But I am really struggling at the moment.
I know that in order to manifest I need to start feeling happy within myself - but I just can't find my way out of a gloomy place.
I do want to feel happy - I want that more than anything else but I doubt myself, I lack confidence and I know that its the self doubt that caused the self sabotaging thoughts that have resulted in me being here in my current situation.
I can't think about sorting out other areas in my life until I have addressed this.
So my question is what do you do that makes you feel happier? How do you pick yourself up? Is it affirmations? Exercise? Anything?
I just want some ideas and motivation really.
Thank you all :-)

Personally, I do yoga almost every day, cardio dance work out for fun, and I meditate nearly daily.
A gratitude journal helped a lot. I'm about to restart it.
Affirmations feel kind of like a chore for me so I don't do them much, but I hear it works for a lot of people. Instead I try to do guided hypnosis that has affirmations in them.
After a couple of months doing this, my grades went up, I got new and more positive friends, and my family started treating me really well. This in turn made me really happy! Everything started falling into place. Now I'm here for my love because all these wonderful things made me very positive and I'm ready for him.

My Pinterest page is like my live vision board. That thing can get so addictive and a great tool if you live visualizing (I'm a day dreamer). Anything that takes my mind out of my physical reality. I also like visualizing that I have re-written experiences that happened in the past. For example a lonely Friday night, I would remember it as doing something I enjoyed doing with a group of friends and my love. Story telling as if something already happened is the best way getting myself there. Those are the few things that have really worked for me to get my vibe up. Wishing you all the best.

I would like to know the answer to this too, especially when I'm on a low point.
I feel like I'm on a roller coaster sometimes.

I've booked a spa day - thought I would 'treat' me!
I've signed up to netflix as there are lots of TV series that I want to watch - so I'm planning a box set day over Christmas break.
doesnt sound like much, but I feel happier for taking a bit of control over myself!

What kind of guided meditations do you do?

On YouTube, search for Michael Sealey. He has all kinds of videos for just what you need. I also listen to Louise Hay's gratitude morning and evening meditations.
