hi lovelies!! i had a long day at work (aka a lot of walking throughout the city) mixed with some impatience so i've been feeling a bit tired n' down today so i thought why not start a positive thread to get the energy rolling again. apologies if this has been done before? i don't recall seeing this but if there is a thread like this....my bad.......

the point of this game, let's call it a game, is to point out things we like in our relationship with our significant other!!! it puts focus on the relationship a bit more than the specific person so it moves about from specifics to an easier, general feeling place!

so here i go:

i like the way we'll walk down the street and he'll brush his fingers against mine, and then gently grab my hand in his and just hold it in his. 

i like how he'll sneak glances at me and smile to himself here and there. i pretend i don't notice, but i secretly do and it's the cutest thing in the world.

i like how he calls me at night and we talk on the phone for a bit. it feels so old-fashioned and genuine and i like how he always wants to hear my voice and hear my sarcasm before he goes to bed.

i like how he'll tag me in posts on Facebook that are super funny or super cute (like a lil puppy dancing) or posts links on my wall, especially things that remind him of me like "i heard this song and instantly thought of you"

i like how we can talk about anything and everything and there's always a nice natural flow to the conversation. we can talk about school, to tv shows, to work, to politics and equality (shoutout to my boy for his stance on certain issues) - i like that we agree on fundamental principles, but i also like that we can have different opinions and find mediums and discuss our beliefs thoughtfully

i like that he's interested in photography like i am and that he likes to take pictures as much as i do. i like that he takes pictures of me when i'm not taking and says how he likes them cause i'm not trying to be anything but myself and he thinks that's beautiful.

i like how he wants to know what i think about certain things and how he values my opinion. 

i like how sweet and genuine he is and how he cares about what i have to say and cares about me as a person. i like our compatibility with each other and how we can easily read the other.
