Enjoy the journey :)

Just a bit of a ramble here and maybe some of you can relate, but I was on my way to the train station after a long day at school and I started thinking to myself "It's okay to be where I am, the journey is the fun part" and I was like "Wow, I never thought I'd say that, er, think that!" and the reason I say that is because I've been reading and studying LOA for the past 2/3 years and I remember on many forums, members would mention "Don't get hung up on the manifestation. The journey is what's the really great part. The manifestation is just the cherry!" and I was like "lol true good concept, but I still want X" and so as you can see, I wasn't in the proper place and all my focus was out of desperation and low energy.

Usually, I'd find myself giving up on studying and focusing on my thoughts because I wouldn't get X (and I know why...lol). It's only now, since I've gotten back into LOA these past couple months, that I can see how much I've truly changed in my thoughts and habits and outlook on life and it's such a nice feeling!! My summer wasn't the way I would've hoped it for and I was in a really bad place September, but since I've gotten serious about LOA in October, I've noticed a huge shift in my thought pattern and energy - hell, I keep my room clean from now on every night and even the slightest little mess bothers me <<< this is literally the hugest ironic statement I could say because if you had seen my room just before October, you'd literally think a slob lives in it. While it wasn't horribly messy, it always felt cluttered and unkept. But now, I make sure to clean it every night and I do think that having a clean room allows for a great peace of mind and a clearer mindset (seriously, cleaning your room and opening up more space in it can usher in more energy and get rid of some mental fogginess!)

right so, as i was walking and thinking that thought, i was like "wow it's so great to be on this journey. i'm so much more happier now, i'm constantly looking for the positive in my days. when i'm having a shi**y thought, i notice it almost instantly and try to do something about it or find something to appreciate it. my beliefs are shifting, the story i say is changing, i'm a lot more positive and it's a nice feeling. just being on this journey feels so great, i don't even want that manifestation all that much in this moment because just becoming who i really am is a wonderful experience!"

so what i'm trying to say is that while we can and are going to get our desires (and our partners! *wink* *wink*), there's no reason to worry so much and forget that the journey is just as great - seriously!! we're all so incredible and creating such amazing things for ourselves and this is all part of the process. yes, you will have what you desire, but no need to be in such a rush! it will come in perfect time, really. so why not sit back and just relax for now, enjoy this journey and be excited for what's to come.

Re: Enjoy the journey :)

Thank you for such an awesome post!
I think that whatever the outcome, none of us will ever be the same once we begin that journey. We just tend to see the world around us with a different pair of eyes and with a different heart, too. Really, ex back or no ex back, Loa is one of the best things that ever happened to me.
