Falling asleep while visualizing

Alright. So, this is a problem I have been encountering lately. I usually visualize laying down, with either binaural beats or meditative music to help keep my mind relaxed and focused. I have been doing it this way since I started actively visualizing, and it has worked fairly well for me. However, lately, when I finally get myself relaxed and ready to visualize, I fall asleep. Even in the middle of the day, when I'm wide awake, I will fall asleep. This only started happening recently, and I am finding it to be quite frustrating. I mean, I have felt less and less of a need to visualize because I trust the universe to bring me what I want, but I still enjoy visualizing. It makes me feel good.

I have tried visualizing while sitting upright, but I find it is less effective since my back will begin to hurt and distracts me from my visualizations. So, lying down is my only real option position-wise.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way that I can combat this? Any help would be appreciated

Re: Falling asleep while visualizing

Weirdly this is what Neville Goddard advises as the best way to do it! Visualise just before you fall asleep and it plants it in your subconscious.

Maybe try to do short 5 min sessions sitting up throughout the day do you don't nod off? It's good you can get so relaxed though!

Re: Falling asleep while visualizing

I'd suggest shorter sessions spread out through the day so you don't get uncomfortable while you're doing them and you don't fall asleep. It only takes 2 minutes to visualize and get to a higher vibration. And if you do a 5 minute session 3 times a day that's plenty! I will stop and take 5 minutes to visualize while I'm on the bus, when I'm making dinner, right before I go to sleep. It helps a lot! And its so much easier because I don't get bored or tired.
