This isn't about my specific person, just in general. But why is it when someone is bored. A lot of times they'll realize nobody is texting or messaging them. But when they are busy everyone starts talking to them?

When a person is bored their mind is idle and probably starts worrying why their person hasn't texted them. In contrast, when a person is busy they don't have time to doubt so things naturally happen.
That's what I think

I'm not even talking about our specific person. I mean people in general

Oh sorry about that. Hmmm that's a good question

This happens to me all the time. Also, it seems like all my friends want to text me all at once and then everyone stops all at once and there's silence lol

I think it doesn't matter whether it's an ex or close friends, orย just people in general, but when you are bored and you notice someone isn't contacting you and are wondering why, well that is actually focusing on lack. Which of course in turn makes the person/people even less likely to contact you. On the other hand, when you are thinking "omg I'm so busy, I hope noone contacts me now", that actually attracts what you don't want to happen, because again you are focusing on it.
I can take myself as an example here: a relative of mine calls me a lot during the week. Normally I'm ok with it, but this morning I was extra busy and a bit stressed out with all the tasksย that I had to complete. I remember thinking " I really hope he doesn't call right now". I wasย feeling very worried at the thought of him calling at such an inconvenient moment. And what happened? He called. Lol.
