Still struggling with this a bit as it pertains to a SP. In one his his lectures Neville said its like being on top of a mountain and looking back at the path you took to get there rather than being at the bottom of the mountain, looking up and thinking "I'm going to get there." You have to already be there in the mind first.
Can anyone help to shed even more light on this?

Well, with an SP it would be you looking back at how you used to feel when you were single and still wanting this person.
