I love Neville Goddard's technique of imagining the wish fulfilled and holding it while drifting off to sleep.
But the problem I'm having is that I fall asleep way too quickly. For example, if I want to imagine a person walking over to me and saying the words that I want them to say(eg "my health is great now!"), well I fall asleep before he has a chance to say even a word. And if he does get to me by that time I'm too drowsy to feel the emotion properly anyway.
Does anyone else have this problem and if so, what solutions have you come up with to stop yourself from falling asleep to quickly?

Yup, this happened to me all the time! So I did my visualising at a different time, sitting in my car before I got out at the end of my work day.. And then I just happily went to bed, drifting off without any pressure to stay awake.

I always fall asleep, to get round this I do it after I have just woken in the morning as well as night time.

Thanks all of you
Having read your suggestions I think what I will try is to use the technique at some other point in the day, and then at bedtime to sit cross legged or upright on my bed to do the visualizing, and then when I've finished I'll just get in to bed and fall asleep with the vision still in my mind.

Does this mean like before you fall asleep. You imagine yourself cuddling or whatever with your love?
