Hey there guys,
I originally came to this board with a different goal, Iβm guessing a very similar goal to everyone else! I found two things out: while practising LOA techniques was very good for helping raise my mood and all the little βtestsβ actually worked for me (asking the universe for a gift got me brownies, donuts and a makeup pallette! Asking the universe to make a specific person sing a specific song, asking to see a beige truck!) practising to make that goal happen made me more anxious, so I asked the universe and stopped working on the techniques to make that happen, and Iβve left that goal to the universe to decide.
A lot of things have happened for me in the past year, Iβve had a lot of very rough stuff happen to me (made suddenly homeless, lost some friends) but the biggest one is starting a really intensive course that squished a bachelors degree into one year.
This course is now my focus, but Iβve been struggling with the stress of this and things in my life. I want to get back into LOA because my experience last time was that it really helped me deal with things in a better, more productive way, and generally made me happier.
Iβm looking for tips to help me get started again, to raise my positivity and help me reach my new goal of doing well in this course without letting the overall goal (doing well) get away from me because of anxiety in making it happen. I found this board very helpful and inspirational last time, which is why Iβve come back here specifically.
If youβve got through this, congrats! And thanks for any advice!

I would suggest reading and/or listening to Neville Goddard. Here is a link to his recording of The Secret of Imagining.
Anything by him is good, but I like that one, and Mental Diets sort of follows on from that one. I particularly like his book The Law and The Promise because of the success stories that readers wrote to him after applying his teachings that are contained in that book.
There is no universe outside yourself. Saying that you're leaving something up to the universe is saying you're leaving it to chance. You've got to know what it is you want so you can imagine it into reality and create the life you want to have.
