You weren't wrong. In a way, the whole get your ex back online/LOA thing is flawed (for those who don't really understand it) because to get your ex back you need to not need your ex back.

And the two don't usually go together!

Plus. I feel like most people who want their ex back, aren't ready to get their ex back. I know I wasn't when I started.

In hindsight, I wasn't ready either. I had a lot of work to do on myself and I still do. It's just so hard to get past the initial "I NEED THIS PERSON OR MY LIFE IS OVER!" phase and I think that's where a few people trip up.

Did you ever manifest your ex back? This is where I get stuck, too. I want him back, but I want to be the best me first and I want him to be the best him.

I've befriended a person who is also trying to manifest a specific person back . This person is complaining that things aren't going well and desperate to get this person back . Today I told her she should get on with her life instead of constantly dwelling on the fact that he isn't here . I told her that she needs to live her life and be happy now and don't depend of if that person returns to than be happy . To be so happy that if he'd never return she'd still be ok .
She told me I was rude and by saying that I was saying LOA doesn't work . That wasn't what I was trying to say at all .. My question , was I wrong ?

It's actually solid LoA advice and it matches my own experience. And if you think critically about the basics of LoA and not just the fluffy catchphrases that float around the forums, then you'll see why it's good LoA advice. She probably hated this because it's not packaged in the fluff she wants to hear, stuff like "You just have to believe" or "if you think of him then he must be thinking of you" or "do this technique and he'll be chasing you." Yuck! It's not good to tell people only what they want to hear over and over again, and to be frank - those catchphrases enable people to stay in the same misery pits (partially why I stopped telling people those things). So yeah, some people will hate you if you say stuff they don't want to hear, but I'd rather be honest.

no you were not wrong, but others have said she wasn't ready to hear the truth - we've all been there
Agnes vivarelli says you need to be doing 70% self love and just 30% manifesting, i'd personally throw chakra healing into the mix too to clear blockages and be fully aligned

I love Agnes, I must try that as well .

What you said was POWERFUL yet so true . This person has stopped talking to me , and that's fine . But at least I know that I gave her the best information I could have . She felt I was wrong in telling her that her happiness and life shouldn't depend of him coming back and that it was horrible to tell someone that who is just learning about LOA and attracting an ex back .. She really needs to see what you wrote . It's an eye opener to me as well . Thank you

Honestly? No I didn't because I wasn't and probably still not in the right frame of mind to maintain the relationship. Plus I didn't feel he was right for me after I worked on myself. I also met someone else who I'm quite fond of right now, we aren't together either though but I like his company.

It's important to make sure you're absoultely happy and secure in yourself before you can even be with another person. Manifesting is actually simple but sometimes it's better to just take a step back, look at the situation and decide if it's worth it.

How do you know you weren't ready?
