Why other people can be our happiness ,but boyfriend not?

Every advice about selflove, or get ex back is, do what do you happy,go out with friends ,with family etc.Be with other people . But friends are people too ,so why friends or family can be source our happines, but our boyfriend or exboyfriend not? We have be a happy unconditional, ,without other people or things, but when we have do things who makes us happy (dance,or pets,or party with friends) so I think this is conditional happy too,or not?

Re: Why other people can be our happiness ,but boyfriend not?

It's never things or people that make us happy. It's what we project into the experience that makes us happy.

When I read your questions, I feel that you take everything you read around the internet for the truth. It isn't. Don't try to include everything you hear into your understanding of LoA. Most of it are just misinformation. Stay critical, even with a concept that's so hard to grasp concept.

"Self-abandonment. That is the secret. We have to abandon ourselves to the state, in our love for the state, and in so doing live the life of the state and no more our present state. And to make the state alive, one must become it."

The definition of happy is "a feeling of pleasure and contentment"

Your source of happiness is internal to you - it's a consistent state of peace and well being or as the definition states "a feeling of pleasure and contentment". With LOA your aim to find a state where you baseline is one of pleasure and contentment. It needs to be consistent and not responsive or dependant on external circumstances.

When you talk about conditional and unconditional happiness - understand that conditional happiness can not give rise to unconditional happiness. What I mean is that if you cannot open yourself to being in a happy state - you can go out everyday and do "happy" things but it will never make you truly happy.

Think of it as a large dark room - if you walk into a dark room with a candle - the room will still be dark with just a small area of illumination around the candle. But if the room has a bright light source, Any other light source you walk into the room with will make it a brighter room.

That's how it works you have to be the light source for your own happiness - all other events after that, are  just sources of energy to make you shine brighter.
