Imagine you meet a guy in a bar - in fact he works behind the bar, you like him and you have banter when he serves you, you know he likes you, he asks you out. You go on a few dates, a couple a week, nothing more than kissing and cuddling happens - one night you and he stay over at a party his friend has and you sleep together on the sofa, again all innocent, nothing more than kissing. This is over a three week time span.
He then cancels a date by leaving a message at your house, you ring him to ask if all is well and he says fine, he will see you on Saturday. He does, and then he finishes it saying "I think you like me more than I like you".
So what is really going on here?

maybe just try to enjoy it and not analyze it too much? if that really bothers you maybe you can just ask him what he meant? I'm learning to not let what guys think affect me as much anymore and just appreciate that someone likes me and is interested in me if I like them back and be positive about the great things to come

No, it isn't me! Hence the way I phrased my post.
I was interested in thoughts about it. If I liked someone, but thought they liked me more, I might carry on seeing them to see how things went rather than end it. I wondered if he just had someone else.

Somebody who doesn't know what he wants? Who knows? You'd have to ask him, and maybe he doesn't even know. He's somebody I wouldn't want to waste any more of my time on.

Indeed there were, the girl in question was worried that it wouldn't last, but was also excited to be with him. She even said that she worried that the fact she talked about him was bad vibes!

Where did you see any of that in the original post? I've read it three times, and I haven't seen any of that there, not a single word of it nor suggestion of it.

The original post was from me so I know the story and who it's about.
