1) I found my headphones so I can listen to my audiobooks
2) for the lovely subway employees who are always friendly to me
3) for my job and how much they appreciate me
4) for Netflix so I can watch my favorite shows

1) that I was able to go to Starbucks this morning because I love coffee

3) I was able to meet with a friend last night because I enjoy her friendship

So I thought of something pertaining to this, negative minded people always focus on bad things throughout their day. If you focus on good things throughout your day, will that slowly but surly rewire your mind to be more positive?

Yes the goal of a gratitude journal is to be grateful for what you have. More cannot come into your life you are not grateful for what you have. There is always something to be grateful for.
1) I am so happy and grateful I get to see old friends in two weeks
2) I am so happy and grateful for the turkey burger I had earlier today
3) I am so happy and grateful for the nice conversation I just had with my mom
4) I am so happy and grateful for my healthy body
5) I am so happy and grateful to have the freedom to go where I want to go
