Confused about the concept of LoA

Hi friends,

I read 'The Secret ' about 2yrs back and since then I try to follow LoA in however way I can. My understanding of LoA is what we ask for, what we focus on is what we receive.
I've been on this forum for about 2weeks and the purpose being to have my sweetheart back with me for good. I've got some really nice advices from all the good people here. People who are in similar situations or people who have manifested their love back in their life....have been very helpful here.
What confuses me a little now is that there are different views about how and what to do.
1. Meaning some people say ask and let go...and some people say be persistent and focused on what you want. 2. Some say just ask and forget about it...whereas a lot of people talk about doing constant visualisations and RS and everything.

I can understand that probably every situation demands a different approach...but is that really the case?

I've done 25days challenge...I do visualisations...I do Guided meditations with Agnes. I do self love affirmations and am completely concentrating on improving my life...as there is a big change in my life, i.e. I'm starting my own business now.
I did break the no contact rule after about 2months of doing all these things by messaging my sweetheart but the response wasn't that great. He had said he'll call the next day but he never did.
What is bothering me is that I had thought that doing all the things I did would have softened him a little but he not calling back even when he said he will doesn't look like that he wants me back.
What is it that I'm doing wrong? Or what is it that I need to do more?
What is the right way....letting go or stay focused on it?

I'm really absolutely confused about this now. Need guidance from all you experts and any and everybody who understands this better.
Thank you!

Re: Confused about the concept of LoA

No anger. But absolutely dry. I messaged saying ' Hi, how are you. Was thinking about you so thought if saying hi'.
He responded saying he is good and asked what's up with me.
I replied and asked him about some event which is coming up in Oct and how is he feeling about it.
He said he is looking forward to it and then said he is on a call right now and then will call me tomorrow and we said bye.
But he didn't call back & it's been 3days πŸ˜”

Re: Confused about the concept of LoA

If i were you i'd be really happy and grateful that he did reply, and there were a bit of back and forth. He could have just said "yes i'm fine" without asking how you are, or he could have just totally ignored the message.

As for your question... I have the same question too. And i have asked my friend before. She said whatever makes you feel better, do it.

She said if you can do living in the end, then do it but sometimes we're just hoping and not living in the end.... So letting go is usually the easier way.

Im stuck because i can't let go.

I have to agree that letting go is the easier way, but I am stuck as well! Check out my post from this evening in "help me align.." section. I tend to spiral. I do really well & im really upbeat and then I have a negative setback. I want to let go in the worst way!

Oh I am very happy about the little exchange of dialogue we had. But got disappointed the next day when he didn't call. And therefore this realization that what I had been doing till now didn't work.
I'm going to let go now....live my life and be happy.

Request for a response from experts, if possible.
