I'm reunited with my long distance partner, I'm grateful and positive about the future and am currently trying to manifest more commitment and security, a trip together to ireland summer '18 and eventually us moving in together, marriage etc.
This cant happen for cpl years yet a we are both single parents (im fine with this as we both have 'stuff' to sort out) So do I still focus on living in the end desire, or focus on the interim goals? Also how do you all personally live 'as if' ?
As an example re: trip to ireland i think about it most days - imagine us there, what we'll be doing, meeting his distant relatives, i have a savings jar already started with little shamrock inside, i bring the ireland trip up with my oh and we discuss the practicalities whether to fly or hire a car, stay in a hotel or with relatives . I have an irish board on pinterest - with lots photos the area hoping to go, also irish pubs, quotes etc and i carry £5 in my purse - when my oh gave it to me (change for something) i thought to myself i'll keep this for the coffees (or at least one lol!) in the airport departure lounge - hope im doing it right, perhaps i should be doing more visualisation?

I'm kind of with Agnes on this one. I do believe you can manifest what you want but if you're coming from a place of just what YOU want - commitment, holidays etc I don't think that's always coming from a place of love so I feel a bit uncomfortable with it and in my opinion, I'm not sure if that's conducive to manifestation. I'm sure lots of people will disagree though!
She talks about it in the video posted on here about FB stalking etc.

I don't see how wanting a committed relationship or a holiday is unloving?

Because it's about what YOU want.
As Agnes says, there's a difference between loving someone and wanting a loving relationship with them which you truly feel is going to benefit both of you and saying 'oh I send love BUT I want X, Y and Z out of this'.
The video I mentioned which has been posted talks about it. I think the general theme is that love is either unconditional or not and unconditional love has the highest vibration. So I love this person and want us to be in a loving relationship IF it's best for both of us and I'm not attached to the outcome vibrates higher than 'I love them but....I also want more...I want this out of this situation'.
