They get into a state of being of "having" by feeling as if they have their desire. That's where visualization, self-love, and changing your belief system all come into play. That's why we're told over and over again to feel as if we are already in the relationship we want, to feel the love and other senses when we visualize. Feeling like we are already there helps us be in a state of mind/ state of being that we are already there. But most people see these techniques in terms of effort or magic tricks for quick results. They think "If I do x then y will happen" but it's more like "I feel y therefore I am y". They're stuck on "I must get him back, what can I do to have him back???" but they're not on the level of "I feel love, I feel loved. I am whole, I don't have to worry or control because I already feel love, my life is whole and amazing no matter what..." Those are two very different vibrations.

And...it's wrong application of LoA. LoA is not about you getting what you want, it's about you going into a state of being where you realize you are the person who already has their desire.
ΒBut people don't have their desire which is why there are all these posts about getting exes back, and they can't get into a state of being where they have their desire, which is their ex, because they don't have them. It seems Catch 22.Β
You've lost me here.
I think that's the part most people have trouble with- the catch 22 of "how am I supposed to feel as if I'm with them", when their reality seems so foreign

You've explained something though. I was taking the post literally, it seems it is about "acting as if". That makes more sense. Β
Acting as if - I never understood that, but I think it means what feelings would you have if you had what you want? Happy, content, chilled, excited - and feel those feelings about other things in life so you have the same vibe. I think anyway.

So would you say you could get those feelings and vibrations by visualising being with who you want to be?Β
