hi, I keep reading conflicting advice about loa - ie ask, believe and let it go - don't worry about the details, let the universe deliver so to speak then veronica and various others encouraging us to focus and visualise daily - live as if your dream has already happened - could someone please clarify. just for the record ive just realised that in the past I indirectly did the first version (all be it I manifested an *hole who fathered my son) I met him several years before we got together - he was with someone else but I remember vividly thinking - he's handsome, and was attracted to his arrogance and pretty much everything about him - I remember thinking I would really love to be with someone like that (young + naïve at the time!) thought about him for couple days and that was pretty much it as he was with another .. I then met him again 6+ years later when we were both single, ended up marrying him but that's another story - I was always amazed how we'd come together when circumstances were right.
My current situation and the reason I have joined this forum is a little different in that I'm not trying to manifest my ex back but to manifest more security and a commitment from my long distance partner who is currently emotionally away without leave.admittedly he has a million and one things on his mind, which wouldn't be so bad if he lived locally as I could support him through it but my fear is/was that it would be easier for him just to finish this relationship and have one less thing to worry about, he did say recently ' I love you but but cant give you what you want at the moment ' which really freaked me out and set me on a path of negative thoughts - im really trying to rid myself of these thoughts as don't want to invite this situation into my life - on one hand he assures me we are fine and things just awkward atm and wont always be like this but on the other we're just treading water and more and more obstacles seem to be coming our way.
A friend said the fact we're still together 4 years on is testament to the love and strength of our relationship and I guess she has a point but I really want to try and bring more commitment into the relationship, any tips / advice feedback on similar would be appreciated . He truly is the love of my life and he says so too, but we have so many obstacles to get through .. its overwhelming sometimes but I refuse to give up and walk away. many thanks xx

I''m gonna try and help you.
You may look at the Law of attraction as a four part process:
1) Ask. You only have to ask once. Visualizing and writing is just to affirm this image in your mind so you make it real for your subconscious mind. The more real it seems to you, the more likely it'll happen.
2) Feel. As you ask and visualize, you must feel as you would feel is you'd live that situation.
You can for example write your ideal situation on a notebook, feel elated because it's real in your mind, and then visualize it and feel it
3) Believing. You need to believe and have no doubts that what you're asking is gonna happen to you. It means that you must also get rid of your limiting beliefs, whatever repeated negative image or thought you hold of yourself. After a breakup, most people feel "unworthy", "undeserving", "unloveable", and so on.
4) Recieve
Recieving means either letting go or living in the end.
Letting go is about moving on. You just forget about your thing all together becasue there's nothing else to do. You already made your desire real in your mind, so there's nothing else you need to do.
Or living, in the end, means keeping your desire with you but with no negative feelings or thoughts about it. Just living as if you already have it, which means feeling as you would feel if your person were with you. Relaxed...elated...joyful...in love with live...as the king of the world...
.
A 25 day process like Isles' book will make you feel better and better each day, will make you believe it's more real each day you visualize. As you're on the challenge, do as Veronica says, visualize and go about your day as you would normally do.
And, after you finish your 25 day challenge, givi it a rest and focus on other things, other goals, other stuff.
On your current situation, I would recommend you to do the following
1) Stop obsessing about what you're not getting from your partner and start being grateful about what you do
Each morning, you can write a list of 10 things you feel grateful for your parter. "Name", I'm grateful for.
...
2) Visualize every once in a while you and you're partner being very happy, saying lovely things to each other, talking all day.
3) Write affirmations each night saying stuff like "I love how he and I are talking so much" "I love how are love grows stronger and stronger each day". Write a single affirmation 10 or 15 times
I recommend these techniques in hopes it would make you feel better. If not, don't listen to me.
In the meantime, just asume that there's no problem between you two and think about him with love instead of fear and lack. It may be hard, but give it a try. Each day it will be easier

Hi Blossom1, I totally understand where you're coming from. And we all ask that to our better halfs. The word commitment for some may be the the biggest word they knew or they might not know. But, in your case it's really hard to be with someone who's emotionally not ready to take in a new milestone of his life. But, know this, try to think and radiate that positive energy and believe me everything will follow.

And I know you're also bothered by the fact that he may not be ready emotionally because he doesnt give you the assurance and security that you needed to feel or hear. I know that feeling, I've been dealing with that for 4 years now. I am in a long distance relationship and it's serious -- that's what I know. But, again we may never know what goes on in our partner's mind, but, let's just practice the law of attraction. At the end of the day, if they really love us, they will make us feel secured.

This is wrong with us women, we think negative all the time and it really affects not just our love life but, in all ways of our living. What if we disregard our wrong beliefs and change it to affirmations. It may actually work, as it attracts all the positive things we've been missing. I really suggest you also read these courses -- attached below. It changed my perspective in life, the way things are to my mind to the way things are supposed to be. Cause really, we can control everything. With the help of this, we can definitely arise above these hesitations and doubts. God Bless you, dear. And I hope and pray that things will get better, I know it will.
