So, I haven't been on this forum lately since I have been pretty busy but just wanted to say I got to spend his birthday with him this year, which a year ago I didn't think was possible!
He agreed to meet me after work but oddly enough I was let out earlier by 2 and a half hours so we gained an extra hour together by the time we met up. We went for dinner, desserts and coffee. We spoke about future activities we could do instead of your usual boring dates too! He was very affectionate the whole day and when I look back at the photos we took I can't help but smile because these photos looked genuinely better and happier than our photos from before (when we first dated). 
He's even got the day off for my birthday! Says I get 'him' as my present this year <3
Can't waitttt!! Although we aren't official yet I am 100% sure this time round, we're gonna be together officially when the timing is perfect, until then just going with the flow happily.
