Re: LOA is not to make you feel guilty

Sanshi, this is history now, I was talking about it for illustration purposes in relation to the original question. I'm not sure about unfair but having worked with that individual for 13 months her behaviour was unprofessional. HR have said she should be ashamed. I've totally changed focus now as I've moved jobs and have had a completely different and highly positive experience.

So do we influence others via our thoughts or don't we? This is what frustrates me. I like hearing I can attract a specific person, etc., but it's posts like this that push me to think otherwise.

If I can attract her back, then surely, that means that we attract, or can attract, EVERY EXPERIENCE...

So that said, why do bad things happen? If you're feeling great, why do we attract negative things? That's something that keeps me doubting, and makes me question LoA principles.

Well, the problem with LoA is that you will never have proof for it. At one point, you have to be brave and say "**** it, I decide that THIS is my truth" and it will be right, whatever "THIS" will be for you. But "I want it, but I don't believe I can have it" will bring you wobbly results including people who tell you contradicting things.

"Self-abandonment. That is the secret. We have to abandon ourselves to the state, in our love for the state, and in so doing live the life of the state and no more our present state. And to make the state alive, one must become it."
