I was just browsing YouTube and a video titled " How to Literally Create Your Reality, The Power of Words (Law of Attraction)", feeling a little low today I decided to click on it and have a listen. The content of the video was Neville Goddard talking about self-talk. Neville Goddard is one of my favourite LOA Teachers with a lack of a better word, so I sat and listened. I've listened to this before but this time the words all clicked and it all made so much sense.Β
"Speech is the image of mind; therefore, to change his mind, he must first change his speech. By βspeechβ is meant those mental conversations we carry on with ourselves."Β This applies to any desire in any aspect of life, I've noticed people say things such as "I am going to manifest ______" if you think of it this way you'll always be stuck in that frame of mind. Your words should always match your desire, you can't say you know you'll manifest your desire and then talk about it from a standpoint of lack or fear. Β Change your inner conversation to match your desire, if you talk about your desire to other people speak of it as you already have it.Β
"What is your aim? Does your inner talking match it? It must, you know, if you would realize your aim. For as the prophet asked, βCan two walk together except they be agreed?β And of course the answer is, βNo, they cannot.β The two who must agree are your inner conversation and the state desired. That is, what you desire to see and hear without, you must see and hear within."
