I haven't try to use affirmation in front of a mirror, usually I forgot to do afirmations :s I will start today.
What I do is meditate and speak with myself, let go the bad things an repeat myself that I can change everything

Self love is really beautiful and amazing,
The most effective way is to chant 24*7, I love myself and I love my life, do it mentally.
Do it everytime and you'll see wonders in 3 days!

one more powerful thought is when we feel sad, say to ourselves that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, it won't come again . so by saying that, it will inspire us to give our 100β n even can give the feeling of gratitude n can bring instant smile if we feel it. :-)

I'll look into speaking with myself, too. That sounds really awesome. I find just saying 'I love myself' into my eyes makes me smile. I'm feeling better-looking, smarter, and happier every second, and my love can feel it.

Man, this brings back some memories....a few years ago a much beloved PLOA member - Superman - made his own forum. That was where I first read some of Cherished posts as well as other members who were the first ones here. It's kinda funny now since this forum is like how PLOA used to be and PLOA is effectively Superman's forum lol. It was a hot mess with a few gems like most forums are lol, but Superman made some post about how we should focus only on bliss and nothing more, that he is rising above the Law of Attraction and all that jazz. I said hello in chat to another popular yet controversial member called Moonlight Concerto and then he tracked me down and basically tried to school me on why Superman is wrong and why he is right about everything lol. One of the key takeaways was....self-love is bullshit. MC was convinced that a lot of the self-love talk that went around was just drivel, only good for getting us psychologically primed for self-discipline with the right techniques. He said that we don't need self-love to manifest, we love ourselves by building better beliefs to manifest what we want. So it's not about self-love, it's about subconscious faith. Itβs kind of funny he said that too since he was a big proponent of the mirror technique when he first came on PLOA. Not that I agree or disagree, just throwing that out there. Probably will write more later.

That's really fascinating, actually. Sometimes, it feels like we're all groping at something we don't truly understand, with everyone trying different techniques and meeting with different results. In my profession, where this sort of thing is common, this generally means everyone has a glimpse of the truth, but not the whole story.
As far as I can tell, two things are needed to manifest: (1) a clear goal and (2) a high vibration. Anything that solidifies those attributes, it seems, will lead to manifestation. Self-love, for what it's woth, definitely improves my vibration and, in my experience, strengthens my visualizations.
I'm not sure what the right answer overall is, however. I'm still improving, although I have had success manifesting other things when I'm embracing how much of a badass I am and completely certain of what I want. I think I lost sight of the former last week, which bred this topic.
