A sign?

So I wasn't on tinder (it's a fun thing to do in my free time. I don't date others...) but when I swipe I do it by numbers (maybe an OCD thing) but I'll count like "7 more", then "7 more", etc. so I got to the point where I'm at "7 more then I'll close the app"... I did 7 more and i looked at the name (which I don't do when I stop on 7s) and I was shocked because the persons name was (and was spelt the same way) the SAME as my girls sisters'. And her name is VERY VERY VERY rare, even more so than my girls'. In fact the sister is the only person I've ever even HEARD of with such a name... In fact I've never heard of such a name before meeting the sister

I'm thinking it's a sign because I didn't even think about my girl today and was so carefree today and happy.

Think it's a sign? I think it's gotta be.

Re: A sign?

Are you sure it isn't her sister on Tinder?

A million percent. Definitely not the same person so I'm thinking a sign from the universe

Re: A sign?

Isn't looking for signs a sign that one is too attached? I'm sure I've read it, perhaps someone can enlighten me?

It shows that you are very aware of your current reality in any case.

I meant deliberately looking for signs. I've always been a bit sceptical about signs. Though recently I have been reconnecting with someone and did find his name cropping up all over the place when I really wasn't looking for it at all.

Sure, but the moment you are deliberately looking for signs you are aware that the thing you want isn't there, else you wouldn't look for signs, right? I don't look for signs that I am a girl. I know that, so I don't need to look in the mirror to be sure that I am a girl. "Signs" are nothing more than you focusing on something and LoA bringing you more of that. Since I have a crush on this guy, I see his name everywhere (and he is American and has a name your normally don't have in my country) and things connected to him like basketball stuff or shovels (lol..don't ask). I don't intend to see any of this stuff. I don't really "use" LoA consciously right now, because I am way too busy. But it doesn't matter. LoA has no choice but to bring me things to match my thoughts.

But I wasn't looking for signs. In that while I just... let go. So it seems like a good thing

As I already said, it's simply proof of LoA. I get what I focus upon, if I look for it or not. Think about frogs without searching for them for a day and watch what happens.

Well if I can get that, I can get my ex back. Thanks Sanshi
