Hi, Ace here.
Today, i would like to explain why having a lot ideas with high expectations are bad.
Having a lot of ideas are good... But having high expectations will drain you.
This will clear your mind and make you understand why some people feel like giving up.
Lets start...
This one sentence will make you realize what high expectations does:
If you expect too much, it will hurt too much.
Let me tell you what i mean.
If you expect too much...
You get attached to an outcome.
You try making it happen.
You worry about what would happen if it doesn't happen.
You close all the possible ways you can receive that outcome in your mind.
You get tired of trying and thinking over and over about the same thing.
You end your desire by giving up because it seemed to hard to get it.
...Now you are hurt.
Notice how this one thing can affect you so much mentally and physically.
If you want to expect things, just EXPECT... Simple as that.
Don't expect too much...
...Don't expect too less.
Expecting can sometimes be a good thing when it comes to doing certain things. Like, if you expect a reply or good grades for your exam, you may play with ideas which will lead you to get those things.
However, when expectations become an attachment, it will get you drained...
...LOA way and Naturally.
In certain situations, expectations are good. However, it is best to change your expectations into Thank Yous and Hopes.
Thank you for the idea, i hope it works.
If it works out, then I'll be happy. If it doesn't work out, I'll still be happy because my desire can come in million ways more, than an outcome that is in my mind.
There's nothing for me to lose by trying... It will only help me grow or push me towards my goal. I have complete faith and beliefs.
Be happy, be thankful.
Be excited, be hopeful.
Expect good things for future, don't expect too much.
After all, i am thankful about the fact that i've had high expectations, because it taught me that it brings nothing but unnecessary pain, doubts and regrets for trying so hard.
Everything you go through, it teaches you some things in life that maybe you would have never knew if you didn't go through it. Some things are easy to notice and some things you have to go through to notice...
...some things you have been through has made you come across LOA and RS.
Be thankful.
Be hopeful.
Allow yourself to be happy about what you are afraid of losing the most. Trying to hard won't help.
Only faith in yourself and God/Universe and everything will come and stay.
Don't let high expectations bring you closer to unnecessary doubts and pain.

Can I hope to get her back?
Or should I only know/believe I'll get her back?
Or even only tell my self I've already got her back?
As I see it, hope is based on something uncertain in the future and has a kind of lack attached to it?
For the past week, I've been telling my self I'll get her back, and that I've already have her and are grateful for our new relationship. I've been telling myself constantly that she loves me and misses me and will definitely contact me. It's kinda made me feel more detached.

Whichever ever makes you feel right.
When you hope and it turns out it didn't go the way you thought, you would have the courage to try again because you won't be too attached.
When you expect, you put all your energy that you truly want to see that happen... But when it doesn't... You become very drained and loss the fact that possibilities are endless. Your desire can not go any other way but to come to you.
Some do expect and not get attached but by they be attached when they hope. So for some it is the other way round.
About acting as if, that should be done anyway. That isn't really related to the hoping. When you act as if, you know its already yours. When you take actions, you hope it works out right but you know you can take more actions in future when the time is right. Thats the difference.
When you hope for a good future or expect a good future, you won't be attached and would be willing to take time. But expecting something to happen right now or tommorow will drain you because you limit yourself but for the future you don't really care when it comes because you know it will come one day.
