Something I don't understand
I'm a belieber in loa I've had plenty of successs with loa, so I feel it exists
Things I always have problems with understanding is
Look at what happened at Florida today, a bunch of people got shot at an airport. 5 died so far. Why do things like this happen?
I doubt anyone before leaving home today said. "You know what, I'm scared that I'll get shot in a mass shooting today" I doubt anyone who gets shot(unless they are in a gang,sells drugs,etc). Even have the fear of getting shot
These type of events really make me wonder/think. Like why do some really really bad things happen?
Also people who are born into dictatorships/poverty/etc. I doubt as a baby. They had the fear of "I might be born into a dictatorship"
I totally get loa, and that reality is based off our thoughts, but when things like this happen. I just wonder. Do people as a whole have thoughts, that they are going to get shot/killed/jumped/sexually assaulted/kidnapped/brought into trafficking/etc
People will always say. "Ignore reality, focus on what you want". That sounds good and all, it's easy to do for certain things. But for serious issues, it's hard to ignore it, cause it doesn't really fix the actual problem
Is there different things at play besides for loa? Like I said earlier, I believe loa, I've seen plenty of success. It just makes me wonder, when I see world issues happen
It's also one of my problems with the whole karma thing, there's people(especially the really wealthy and powerful(not saying they are all bad). Who do some very evil things, and you they rarely if ever face karma, at least on this earth

My aunt is a religious woman, has morals and makes an honest living. She also has a few of being shot. She will not go to the movies, parades etc. or anywhere that has ever had a mass shooting. She doesn’t make excessive comments about being shot but it is an underlying belief that she has – that she has a good chance of being shot in a mass shooting. Many other people are told don’t do that or you will get kidnapped, raped etc. My point is that yes some people carry around a thought that certain horrible things could happen to them. Overall, I’d say that the majority of us aren’t perfect and we fall short and open the door for things to happen. In addition, although some brilliant people have contributed to LOA etc – I don’t think anyone past or present has had a complete grasp on what life is.

Not even world events, but things that are in my control. People like to say that what you expect is what you get. I remember when I expected to get fatter and I was so anxious that my health was getting worse. This went on for months and months. Guess what? It didn't happen, the exact opposite happened, I got slimmer, my health was better, I surprised myself. There have been other events as well where I received the exact opposite of what I expected, where things I believed were impossible for me came true with absolutely no change in my thinking patterns. People on here say that you always get what you believe and expect, but events from my own life shown me otherwise. Of course when you bring it up, people get defensive, angry, and close-minded instead of looking deeper.

I am new to loa, but with all my reading i have come up with a few thoughts of my own on this matter. Loa is thinking, believing and getting what you desire. The energy you put out, you will get back in, and i think for the most part that is true. Not to say you will not experience negative energy if you are happy all the time, but you may not fully be as happy as you think and thats the negative you are feeling. So when it comes to these mass shootings and tragedies, they happen due to someone dark, and they are sadly a wrong place at the wrong time situation. But, while we are constantly manifesting our desires, i am sure that you dont often think about how you desire to not be shot, or not be in an accident, or not be in a terrible situation. If you are not desirinh to not be in it, why would universe work to make it happen?

If you hear it in the news you focus on it. We all hear about terror attacks and some people worry about them.
I don't. I'm not going to focus on something that I myself will never experience.
That might make me sound heartless but I just don't think about it.
