And again you reinforce the old story. I can understand the need to talk about it, but you have to understand that what you are thinking and talking about is highly creative. Do you really want to think "in three weeks I won't have a job", if that is what you create for yourself?

No, I was clarifying for the other poster that the situation isn't just that I want to change jobs for the sake of it. I didn't mention the old story in my original post, just what happened today.

Re: Turned down for a job again

It doesn't matter for which reason you repeat it. You can't turn LoA off, just because you want to clarify something. Telling people "how it is" is a bad habit we need to let go of, when we want LoA to work for and not against us.

Re: Turned down for a job again

Same thing happened again with today's interview.

Now - am I reinforcing it by actually mentioning it? Β Or do I just forget it and go forwards for the next one?Β

I do feel really disappointed and afraid and I think it is important to process those emotions, not stuff it down and plaster a smile on my face and say I am fine. Β

I might be fine after I go home and put on my onesie and get on the sofa, but right now I am not.

Re: Turned down for a job again

It's not about suppressing emotions, but taking the information from it. It's no coincidence that we speak about emotional pain. When you put your hand on a hot stove, it hurts. That is a good thing. If it wouldn't hurt, you would let your hand on it and it would burn so badly that you wouldn't be able to use it anymore. It's the same with your emotions. They show you that you hurt yourself with your thoughts and that it would be a good idea to change your thoughts. It's not about thinking the same thoughts and suppressing the emotions. It's about thinking different thoughts that bring different emotions.

So, like taking the positive from the interview feedback - for example I was told there was one criteria I didn't match but everything else was fine?

Re: Turned down for a job again

I was thinking about you this morning especially after I was reading an article on LOA.Β Β  I think you should focus on the Like Attracts Like idea. You need figure out ways to feel like you already have the job you want.

I wasn't advocating those ideas.

It just seems like something that could open up a door for doubt unless a person is really solid in it.

I'd like a moderator to delete them please.

Turned down yet again today, that's three times in a week, do you think those links are anything to do with it?
