This makes no sense

I was wondering that exact same thing. What if we outgrow our former lover's vibrations? Aren't we just pushing them away or will a time come when our vibrations are equal and that's when we will be united again?

This reminds me...years ago I wanted to attract a specific girl. We were friends, I liked her a lot, did RS, but things just got frosty (to be frank, RS kinda made things worse). So I let go and focused on my life, we ran into each other....and I just felt less interested in her. She's a good person and very attractive, but it was like we were both growing up and growing apart, on different wavelengths, so I just wasn't enjoying it as much as I thought I would. Reminds me of what Cherished once told me...when we raise our vibration we will either attract the specific person we want or we will discover what we truly want and meet someone else who is a better match.

Abe-Hicks also talks about clattering - "When you decide that you want to feel good, and you reach for the vibration that feels good to you and you establish that as your Tone, either the people around you will be uplifted to join you in that vibration or, if their vibration is already very well chosen otherwise, they will clatter right out of your experience. But what happens to most of you is, while they are clattering out of your experience, you notice they're clattering. You begin to clatter too, and then they clatter right back into your experience, and you clatter together miserably and continually."

So, Abe-Hicks makes it seem like people on a dominantly dissimilar vibration will just somehow split.

As for OP's question, there are two very different and conflicting ideas, so all you can do is experiment with it and see how it works out for you.
