How long?

So I've heard different theories on how long it should take and I know that we aren't supposed to question how long it's supposed to take but I feel like I need a time frame so I can stop being so inpatient. I read into the Neville 3 days thing and it looks like he didn't mean literally three days he meant three was more of a state of being fulfilled. So let's say we are completely pure to our desires how long should it take? How long should I wait until I take a step back and wonder what I'm not doing quite right?

Re: How long?

I read in the core teachings something that sounded very much like literally 3 days.

It doesn't have to take long. It depends on your beliefs. It's easy for me to believe that I will find money on the street today, so I can make it happen today. But it's harder to believe that I win the lottery today, because I don't even play (there is still a way that this could happen today). So there is a natural time frame you set for yourself. You can work through your beliefs or you accept that. There is this one Bashar video where he talks about that. Ask yourself what you think how long it will take for you and that's the time it will take.

You shouldn't wait at all. To cite Bentinho: "Waiting is for losers". What do you waiting for? For the reflection to change? If you wait, you still look at the reflection and notice that it hasn't changed.

All the challenges are around 30 days long. I think, if nothing happens within this time frame, you should rethink. But don't make the mistake to notice "oh, only 25 days left...I hope it will work, else I have to think about what I'm doing wrong." Don't count days, just be in the state of the fulfilled wish.

"Self-abandonment. That is the secret. We have to abandon ourselves to the state, in our love for the state, and in so doing live the life of the state and no more our present state. And to make the state alive, one must become it."

Re: How long?

No, sorry. No idea. It has been a while since I watched it.

Re: How long?

Also, I think a persons view on how big their desire is comes in to play. If you think the desire is big, then there is room for resistance. Not saying that you are doing that, but I think others do.
