Even if you believe - it doesn't happen?

Some of you will know I am looking for a job as my contract ends at the end of January, unless something happens in the meantime at work (my manager is not responding to contact about it).  I have been applying for suitable posts and was turned down for interview for one that is £15K a year less than I earn now (I need to pay the bills!!), in a similar arena but different establishment (basically, the role of the team members I manage) When I queried why, I was told my application was at management level and I didn’t talk about, for example, what I had done on a reception desk.  I manage people who do that, and thought it was a given that I would know what to do.  All very strange.

The thing is, I thought when putting in the application that I would easily get an interview and would easily be able to get through the interview as well.  But it didn’t happen.

So, why not, if I really believed it??

Re: Even if you believe - it doesn't happen?

Every time you post here, I hear you talking about reality. It's not so much about believing that it WILL happen, but that it IS HAPPENING right now and when you look at reality, you are very aware of the fact that it isn't. You can't think about the bills you have to pay and the money you need and find a job. What you need will run as fast as it can, so that you can't catch it. You have to be it to get it.

Btw, a nice example about believing, but not getting something: I believed fully that my ex would come back to me some day. But I observed his behaviour on a daily basis, analysed it, felt bad about it and that held him apart. If you could not think about reality for just a few days, it would shift.

Now, what can I think about then?

How great your new job is or whatever it is you want.

I always sense you counting down and being worried.

Re: Even if you believe - it doesn't happen?

Well, that's your problem.  You really don't completely believe. The Universe can make anything happen.  Don't worry about the timing etc because something can happen overnight. You have to truly see and feel it though. If you truly placed it with the Universe you'd be happy, thanking it for sending you a job and thanking yourself for passing your desire or need over to the Universe.  Anything less than that will cause you frustrations.

I do believe anything can happen, I believe things can change in an instant and there are infinite adjacent possibilities.  I do tend to allow it to frustrate me sometimes though.

Well,  you're doing what I call zig zag. Sending the universe back and forth.
