Yes, I see what you're saying. You are drawing the psychic to you at that particular time because they will accurately reflect you in some way. They may reflect your fears of the future, your good expectations, but even though they are reflecting you, they may not be reflecting your conscious fears, expectations, etc. They may be a way in which you are providing yourself with confirmation about something. Our realities can combine, so to speak, through agreements.

My overall point was that psychics cannot be relied upon to predict the future, because such a future doesn't exist and is completely determined by you, but yes, what you're saying is more accurate, I think.

I do tarot readings for myself, and what they can, is give you advice to what to do, regarding a specific situation or concern, from the point you are at right now. If you change your mind, or go another way then, what you at the reading moment intend to go, then you need a new reading.

I also have contact with my spirit guide, and basically it is my intuition amplified. Let me try to explain it more: My intuition, or gut feeling, is my soul, inner being or what you would call it. It is connected to source, the universe, infinite intelligence, god or what you like to call it. And so is my spirit guide, so basically they are a part of the same, but my spirit guide is more amplified than my intuition.

The tarot cards can also be seen as an amplifier for your intuition.

I cannot read for others... 99% of people who does tarot reading, do them for themselves, only 1% do it for others.
