How often do you do it??

Hey guys I was listening to Neville video on the way to work this morning and he said in it that when we imagine/visualise our desire before we sleep and feel it real and that it's been done (from the end POV) then we shouldn't desire it no more, that it is done and we believe it to be true.

I like to visualise before I go to bed and when I wake up and I also like to create thoughts and feelings through the day

I've got to the point where my visualising feels so real I can imaging the setting, feel the touch and heat of my girlfriend (I'm not saying ex anymore) and hear her words etc and the desire goes away I do believe or for a while that it's true but the desire comes back and I visualise again.

Is this right? How many times do you guys visualise?? πŸ˜€

Re: How often do you do it??

I actually just read a bit of Goddard today.  He says to try to have an inner conversation of what you desire as much as possible.  You are training your thoughts for what you desire.  So try to catch yourself self when you are thinking negatively. Then go back to your inner conversation on what you desire.  Sounds to me like you are the right track.  I agree with DC, if it feels like a chore don't do it.

I just had a wonderful visualization of marrying my Love on the beach.  I'm still flying high.  I am certain that it is happening soon!

I think that's one of the most crucial and most overlooked aspect of LoA. You have to change your self talk. You can't wonder when she will back or ponder the breakup. The frequency of your self talk has to match the frequency of your desire as much as possible.

Re: How often do you do it??

Thanks for your replys guys , they're so valuable πŸ˜€

I'm not worried at all about us being back together now , I've learned how to become detached but I do still have that desire which I asked the other day about where that desire could be coming from, I visualise because it makes me feel good I'm not doing it with an agenda anymore, I actually prefer my imagined world lol , I was wondering if I was affecting my manifestation by doing it to much

Would you be able to explain the self talk or give examples of self talk that would match please guys πŸ˜€

If you don't do it with an agenda, why does it matter to you, if it could affect your manifestation? Don't lie to yourself. Of course you do it with an agenda.

You think around 60000 thoughts a day and every one of them has creative power. Most of them are probably focused on your reality and that's the reason why your reality looks very similar every day. You have to ask yourself with every thought you think, if you would think this way, if you would already live the reality you want to live in.
"She is amazing" - YES
"I'm sure she will be back" - No
"I miss her" - No, probably not in the way you think the thought now
"I'm depressed, because she isn't with me" - NO

You have to think from the reality you desire. If you could do that for one week straight without any wobbling and feel the thoughts with intensity, she would be back at the end of that week.

Re: How often do you do it??

Just thought I'd chime in on the self talk thing, not really related to desires as such but my reality was awful until a few moments ago. I woke up and told myself I was depressed, I burnt my hand making breakfast, I spilt tea all over myself, I just generally wore myself down. How can these words not match my reality after all? I decided to stop what I was doing and just lie on my bed because my bed is comfortable, I told myself I can change everything with perspective. A friend who doesn't believe in this stuff came in shouted "feel good because it feels good" and handed me a cup of hot chocolate. Put some music on and the song Unwritten started playing, that's really put things into perspective for me. Today is where your book begins.Β

Awesome advice guys thank you! πŸ˜€

2 days Last week when I woke up and I thought to myself today is a great day and guess what they were, I think that's self talk so I'm going to do it more often lol

Re: How often do you do it??

Do it as much as you want as long as it doesn't feel like a chore
