It is very, very hard to remain positive

I am due to finish my work contract at the end of January.  I have been on redeployment at work but have been turned down for all three posts I went for.

This is becoming really impossible for me.

The turnaround time between applications and interviews is very short so there is very little time for actual preparation, never mind visualisation and so on.  Though I have visualised myself in these posts, felt positive and upbeat, etc, known, and believed, that I have excellent skills and can do high level jobs.

Still, nothing.

Just wanted to rant, really.  Am in total despair as the consequences are terrifying.

Doesn't feel like that.

I feel that without the basic building block of being able to provide for myself, I have nothing else.  Relationships and material stuff don't matter without that. Without a proper job, I cannot keep a roof over my head, feed myself or my animals or run a home.  That is the baseline for me and without that, and the fear of not having that has sent me into ultimate depression.

Without wanting to trivialise anything anyone else is going through, I wish all I had to be concerned about was that somebody was my ex and not my partner.

Re: It is very, very hard to remain positive

The Universe will give you whatever you want, anything. It acts off of how you feel , what you focus on and what you show it.

If your mood is xyz, it will send more things to make you feel xyz. No matter what type of mood it is. If you keep showing it what you don't want, that is what you get.

You have to truly get up and picture yourself already having the job. Think of what you will do with the job security. Is there a certain outfit you'll wear? Go to the store and try it on. Etc.

That's your guidance that's telling you that every thought about lack istn't true from the perspective of your Inner Being. It's a strong signal that you are heading in a direction you don't want to go.

That's a good story!

I'm less concerned with it being a dream job at the moment (though that would be great!) - my priority is to have A job that pays my mortgage and bills. In less than two months my current job won't be there anymore, and I still have to eat and pay the bills and keep a roof over my head.

Re: It is very, very hard to remain positive

I feel just stop saying that to yourself that after 2 months...blah blah....!!! After two months I am joining another superb job and I am attending a few interviews to just see which one suits me!!! Say something like this...u are constantly saying something which u dont want....just feel the fact that a new job is already there and u are finishing the last tenure here.....its just 2 months away..start preparing......its just 2 months away!!
