Manifesting something you're not attached to?

So I thought I'd test the LoA out (I love doing that! I believe completely, I just do it for fun) and thought I'd try manifesting a facebook message from someone I've only talked to once (I don't really know them at all.) - but it hasn't happened. The intention was about a week ago...

Am I doing something wrong? I just thought about it a few minutes ago, and I let it go the same day I made the intention...

Thanks

It's hard to tell why it hasn't happen without knowing your thoughts, but it's probable that you had some doubts. Setting an intention once works only, if you don't put any opposing energy in.

Re: Manifesting something you're not attached to?

As Sanshi says, you most likely had some doubts.

Just the idea that you went into it to "test the universe" could imply and underlying belief that you don't think it's possible that LOA works, so therefore you may feel the need to prove it...

That implies underlying doubts and resistance which can slow down the manifestation/experiencing the experience externally.

Just a thought.

That's true. You also tried a little too eagerly to convince us that you believe fully.

Re: Manifesting something you're not attached to?

Also - while you may not be fully attached to the outcome of hearing from this particular person, it's likely that you're in some way attached to "testing" the universe and "proving" LOA.

So there's still an attachment and therefore still doubt/resistance.
