It's an interesting question. Right now, I see it that way:
LoA is the central principle that manages everything. Within this environment you can create anything you want, including spirit guides and guardian angels. They can tell you stories and you can believe in that stories and by doing so, you create that stories and prove your guardian angel right (or better said LoA).

My gut feeling is something really reliable for me and I had a hard time integrating it in a world managed by LoA. But I think it's our higher self giving us a signal that something we have thought is about to manifest.

How do you call upon guardian angels? How do you speak to them? How do you get answers from them?
