I have gotten a few messages asking what I do to "act as if" so I did the whole making room for him thing but it didn't get me into the feeling of having him with me. So I started listening to our playlists we made together, I started doing my makeup and wearing nice clothes again. Somehow it got me into a place where I started pretending he was next to me at all times, I pretend to have conversations with him at bed time and I watch movies we once saw together sometimes. It's not so much as "acting as if" it's more "feeling as if" do whatever makes you feel like you're already in a loving relationship, do what you used to do when you were in the relationship. Pamper yourself and most importantly LOVE YOURSELF!!

I've started practising these types of things. I've even had days where I've pretended to speak on the phone with him, I sleep on one side of my bed, he has space for his clothes, he has his own mug for tea. I'm starting to get a little crazy with these practices to people on the outside looking in but it's working for me!Β
