Hi everyone! I'm new here! I just started LOA maybe 2 weeks ago and it actually has made me a happier person. Long story short my boyfriend broke up with me almost 2 months ago and we've kept in contact sorta. I just found out though that he's been dating this girl from work who I had suspicions of. I feel really upset but I'm trying to stay positive. I'm guessing this is a rebound? She's not his type and told me that he wouldn't be in a relationship for a long time (when we broke up)
and that this girl from his work doesn't like him... Idk how to stop the negative thoughts

There is no point in thinking about her at all. It isn't what you prefer, right? So find a way to focus differently. It doesn't even matter if she is a rebound or not. The only thing that matters is the relationship that you want with your guy, period.

Listen to Sanshi, she knows the drill. Get old photos, do scripting, meditate and have fun with life! Repeat: ,,(name) has a new girlfriend and it is me!" until ya believe it.

It's just hard to stay positive when things go wrong. But I feel like if I attracted this situation I can reverse it. And something is telling me and my heart to not give up on him that he really is mine.

Don't even think about what is "wrong" turn in positive instead.
If you attracted something you can always attract something else. So keep your focus on the things you want !!!! Now believe your guts and follow your heart. Create your perfect relationship and believe.

I understand your feelings, let me share something with you: When my girl broke up with me, she started dating other guy one week later! I think you can feel how I got hurt. But they broke up two months after (rebound). Then I met a dude at a club, we chatted a little and became "friends" on Facebook. That same night my girl showed up (actually we both knew we'd see each other that night) and I found out that she was dating HIM! Yes, the dude I added on Facebook a few hours ago. I mean, what are the chances of this happen? Of course I created it. And you know what? The dude is a good person and he even likes my posts (ironic, isn't it?). He's still in my Facebook contacts but I don't "follow" him, you know. And I don't follow my girl either. I decided to date her and marry her and live together with her IN MY MIND, so I don't wanna see any other "evidence" that contradicts my thoughts.I don't even know whether or not they're together, but I decided it doesn't matter to me. I'm starting my 25 Day Challenge.
So that's my words to you. IGNORE IT. Yeah, I know, sometimes bad thoughts and bad feelings pop up, but you are stronger than that, you can revert any situation! Relax and stay positive.

It's just harder to be in a mental state of actually being with them, when they are with someone else if that makes sense. When I first started LOA, I knew he was hanging out with this girl, but didn't think much about it. I became happier knowing that thinking positively, visualizing, etc. would help me attract my boyfriend again. Now, after hearing that he's with this girl who I had suspicions of during and after we broke up, it's more difficult to stay positive. He's the kind of guy who acts on impulse and doesn't know how to express his feelings well enough. I'm not saying that this is the reason why he's dating her, but I'm trying to think positively ("what if this situation is only going to attract my ex even more?" ideology). This threw me off guard and that's why I'm shaken by this. I am strong and to be honest, I cried when I heard the news, but I stopped. I can't believe how much stronger I have become. If I heard of this news when we broke up, omg I would've died. Sometimes I feel like giving up though, idk how to stop these doubts and thoughts.

InnerGod gave you excellent advice. It shouldn't be harder. If it is, it's because you give too much attention to your reality. It really doesn't matter what he is doing right now.
Your thinking positively isn't really going to lead you where you want to be, because it still includes What Is. You don't have to get anything positive out of that situation, because you don't have to change the situation. You can create something new, regardless of the situation. Free yourself from what is and focus on what you want. Feel the feelings you would feel, if you were in a relationship with him. Don't waste your powerful, creative thoughts with the other girl (you have created anyway).

Believe me, I know exactly how it is! I cried a lot too. I cried talking to her on the phone, we had arguments, I said I was really angry with her, you have no idea of the mess I did. But here I am, I haven't died and guess what? I'm stronger now that all this happened. damn, I saw pics of them together, but at the end, I know I was creating a monster in my mind and that's what you're doing right now. STOP! His behaviour towards you is just a reflection of how you expect him to behave. Just stay cool. Breathe. Take calm and deep breaths, trust me, this helps a lot. When we are hurt, we see a problem much bigger than it really is. Let's trust the Universe, he won't stay with her forever. Forget the other girl, she's just a necessary piece of the puzzle that is arranging his return to you. Just focus on you and him. You can do it.

I love what innergod said in the end .. yeah this is how it should be. Maybe through that relationship he will realise how wonderful you were to him as partner. He will fall in love with you in much deeper sense and value you much more than before. (Already might have started)
