This is why letting go and getting out of our own way is sooooo important. Not relationship related but I was just telling a friend this story and she suggested I share it here. I've always been inquisitive in nature for as long as I remember and I was always ahead of the children in my class when it came to reading. I always wanted to learn new things and you'd often find me lost in books, I used to read about pond life, history, also loved poems and stuff like that. Anything I could get a hold of, I'd read it. I'm still the same now, when I was in college studying children's care, learning and development you'd find me in the library more often or not looking into the different aspects of care and development. I was always looking for books on Amazon, I had a wishlist of at least 80 books at the time, I was sat with an old boyfriends parents one day adding more books to my wishlist. I wasn't really attached to the outcome of getting these books, I knew I'd get them anyway. I find myself wandering into book stores and charity shops often so I always find what I look for either way. His mother then asked me why I was stocking up on so many physical copies when Kindles existed, I used to be a bit of a snob back then when it came to Kindles so it never really crossed my mind to invest in one. For my 23rd birthday my exes parents bought me my own Kindle. To this day it's always with me, it'll either be sat on my desk when I'm here doing whatever, it's under my pillow at night and it's always in my bag when I leave the house.  I got all the books from my wishlist, found many more interesting reads through it and many free reads. My intention was to get the books I wanted to read, the universe delivered through a Kindle a a gift.
