Advice

Hello all, I am new here. I am so thankful I found this wonderful forum and can't wait to start chatting with you all.

I first learned about LOA last spring when I decided to call off my engagement and attract a man I had a crush on. My fiancΓ© at the time had cheated twice during our 9 year relationship (once at 6 years and then again at 8 years). He proposed shortly after cheating the second time and we stayed together about another year before I ended the engagement and the relationship.

The man I had a crush on had recently started dating a girl, but we became friends. Our connection immediately swept me off my feet and gave me the confidence and strength to end my relationship although I had no guarantee my crush was interested. We actually weren't even friends for a period of five months because he didn't think it was fair to his new girlfriend and that's actually when I ended my relationship with my fiancΓ©.

I used LOA to attract my crush back into my life and our friendship grew. He and his girlfriend even came to a party at my house. However, once again, almost exactly a year later, he has put an end to our friendship because of my feelings.

In the meantime, I have been dating and have been able to attract a lot men, but mostly ones I am not interested in. One man I did attract, but he is only interested in me sexually which at first I was okay with and realize I attracted. However, after spending more time together I realize I do really like him.

I also miss my ex. It's been a year since we've been broken up. He has started dating someone new, ten years younger than us, and has moved out of the house we once shared and to an apartment in the city. I have contacted him like every month since he has moved out. However I have started no contact and am at a month and a half. I do really miss him and realize the part I played in his cheating and our relationship ending. This past year I have spent re-learning how to be happy and put myself first. Everyone tells me how happy I look now and that I smile more and I'm glowing. However, I don't think it was him that made me unhappy. It was my thoughts. His cheating made me feel worthless. But I chose that at the time. I often wonder if things would be different now that I am happy and loving myself.

I am definitely a relationship person and I am read for a marriage and a family. I am open to it being my ex, my crush, or this new guy I am physical with, or someone new.

My question is... How should I go about my visualizing? Sometimes I try visualize my ex and I back together but then I fear if I do that I'm closing off the possibility of someone else? Should my visualization just be general? Thanks so much everyone!

Re: Advice

You don't have a preference, so I would go general. Go for a person who don't cheat is avaible and in love with you. Sounds good, doesn't it? It may be one of the guys you mentioned. The best one possible will come.

Visualisation isn't what manifests in the end. It's the feeling you have while doing it. What I like to do is making a list of my perfect mate. It's fun to do, you get clear about what you want and you get to the feeling place of it.
