Is this a bad type of RS??

I've noticed my ex has been quite cozy with his ex since our breakup, and I think I've figured out why he actually broke up with me... To go back to seeing her. I'm beyond angry about this but I know my reaction to it is only making it worse. It's so hard not to react unfortunately. Anyway, I've been imagining him crying to have me back and how sorry he is while I'm listing off his "offenses" you could say, lol. And I've been thinking for him how he has to have me. Is this a bad way to do RS? Now before you guys say I should just move on, unfortunately I still like him and want him back, but in a better light.

Re: Is this a bad type of RS??

I dont think you should list hos offences, as many people on here would say that is negative and your repeating your past story constantly so you will only attract more of that! Instead rewrite your story thats full of love and happiness now. Try to avoid mentioning the past, as the past should remain in the past only. Hope this helps

(Also when i am with my guy, i avoid bringing up anything from the past, the good or the bad things! Its him who brings up the good moments instead now.... Shows he still remembers the good times of our relationship)

That's true. It's just kind of difficult because I've been doing positive RS everyday and the only thing I've noticed is he is getting closer to his ex and he's possibly seeing other girls...can't help but feel a bit frustrated

I know how frustrating this must be. Hmm, can I ask - how are you feeling when doing the RS? Are you doing it for the joy of it, or... to make something happen? That's where all the difference is (from what I can tell).

I'd say it's a combination of both feelings. I'm doing it intending that he comes back but usually I find it enjoyable. Sometimes I think of it as a chore though because it's hard for me to "get in the mood" but I do it anyway because everyone says the RS needs to be done everyday if you want any results.

This is a tricky one, especially if you're doing it just out of habit. RS should be a good positive experience and feelings should be positive. I know that you're supposed to do RS for 30 days, but sometimes if I'm not in the feel good mood about it then I won't do it. I think that maybe when you're feeling good and feeling positive about your ex, then do a session It can be done anytime of the day.
Start rewriting history, start with some creative writing or maybe do a focus wheel. Get yourself in a good mood or a better frame of mind about your ex.
You can always give RS a break and then go back to it when you're starting to feel more positive. If you do it positively and at the same time thinking that he's just going to get closer to his ex - then guess what? He will!!!

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll start more writing I tend to visualize better during the day when I'm taking a walk or driving...its so hard for me to do it in the morning or night.

Do you have any suggestions how I can get rid of this foreboding feeling that he's seeing his ex/other people? When I visualize I feel great, but then it hits me later that she's in the picture and he probably left me to go back to her and I'm back at square one all over again. I get bothered too when I see him friending all these random girls and liking their profile pictures...it just sort of escalates. How can I keep myself positive?

This comes from spending more time learning to appreciate and love YOU. When you do that, 2 things happen. You vibrate high, attracting people and circumstances to you, but more importantly you also come to realise your greatness. When you celebrate your own beauty, your uniqueness, and everything that makes you fabulous.. Then none of that bothers you any longer. You are then confident and worthy and knowing that he's yours and nothing can stand in the way. Wish the other girl love, and hope for her that she runs off to find her perfect guy! And then go claim yours! It truly all comes down to love.

Re: Is this a bad type of RS??

Thanks guys for the advice! I was wondering if I could get some feedback on this...so yesterday was my birthday and I visualized him wishing me a happy birthday. He never did but I woke up this morning and saw that he liked something I posted on Facebook (I had just shared a picture with a sarcastic caption about how the blood moon was covered by clouds). He hasn't given me any type of attention for over a month now. I was thinking he may just have liked it without looking at who posted it, or either it was really funny to him. Is this a good sign or nothing special?
