Gotta be honest.. I have been totally rocking the whole 'acknowledge negative thought then get rid of it' lately. So much so, that I've been having fun with it. Anytime a negative thought comes into mind, I'll think it then be done with it, or I'll simply say (within my head) "No no no, get outta here!" I even had a dream recently that my guy got back with his ex, and my mind completely stopped that dream. I remember enough of it to where I said in my dream, 'stop, this isn't happening'
Anyone else do something unique to rid their negative thoughts?

I do the same thing as you. It is the best method for me. As well as I would sink into the feeling which makes it vanished.

That's awesome! I don't have a certain technique or phrase that I use but I am aware of my thoughts and do a pretty good job at pivoting when I notice the negative ones popping in. I've read about people wearing rubber bands/elastics on their wrists and snapping them when they notice they're thinking negatively.
