I started trying to manifest my ex back almost 6 days ago and I have been mostly positive, however today has been a bit harder, as the feelings of doubt and dread and "I will never have him back or experience wonderful things with him" creep in. These negative thoughts only come when I'm reminded about the past. Often times the memories are positive, but that feeling comes with them. How do I disassociate the negative feeling from the positive memory? Is it okay to remember the good times? Or should I try and stop remembering everything because it is in the past?
Also what are some things I can do when I'm feeling hopeless?

Do everything you can to stay positive and keep your vibes up. My boyfriend and I had broken up and he moved out . after about 10 days I discovered Veronica Isles on Youtube and joined this forum 1 day before a month of us being broken up he came home. I was on Day 12 of the 25 day challenge and what really helped me was focusing on myself believe me it was days I didn't know which way I was going and it was super hard on me because we were financially tied to each other and he went on to another woman. So it did a complete 360 and these past few days with my Antonio has been so wonderful... Self Love is the key.

That is so inspiring! I am going to focus on me and just have fun and let go of all negativity while also feeling like I am already in a relationship with him. I know it is coming, so now I just have to relax and let it come!

I would probably keep him blocked so that you don't see anything that would interfere with your inner reality until it and the perceived reality match up.

Looking at Social Media will definitely cloud your judgment I know its hard . I was never friends with my ex anyway but it didn't stop me from looking at his page . I stopped looking at his page to help me get him back.

Because you are then focused in opposition to your desire.
When the memories are happy from the past but as you think of the past, you feel crap instead,

You feel negative emotion because as you think this positive memory,
you also think "But that isn't happening anymore" and "That was good but now he's not here".
You're contradicting, whereas if you were to bask in just the good feeling this memory would otherwise bring,
you'd feel better.

Here's the awesome thing about Law of Attraction.
It doesn't care whether you are thinking of the past, present or future.
It takes your vibration based on whatever you are feeling when you're thinking anything.
Say, you're thinking about the past, the past is still thought about in your NOW.
The same way about the future or the present. You're still thinking it in your NOW,
because you cannot be anywhere else but in your NOW.
And LoA is taking your vibration based on what you are feeling in that NOW as well.
When you're thinking good-feeling thoughts about your past without contradicting them with negative thoughts,
then this good feeling is what is creating your future in that moment.
And you can know whether you are creating your Wanted future or Unwanted future based on how you feel.
Feel bad - Unwanted creations.
Feel good - Wanted creations.
Stressing again that it does not matter whether it's the past, present or future,
LoA doesn't care.
It also doesn't care or even know if what you're thinking is what you're imagining or living right now,
it still takes your vibration based on how you feel about what you think.
So you remembering past memories and feeling good, you're saying to the universe "More of that please!",
and the universe provides.
And you thinking of past memories and feeling bad, that means you're feeling Lack,
but you're still saying to the universe "More of that please!", so the universe provides you more of Lack in that scenario.
This is a universe of inclusion.
Whatever you think about, you include it in your vibration.
But it's up to you whether what you think about feels good or bad to you
and based on that whether you're creating something Wanted or Unwanted.

- I know that my deliberate intention is always to feel better than what I've been feeling
- I know that things are always working out for me
- I know that I can get back on track because the spring of Well-being is so strong it's impossible for me to pinch myself off of it completely
and so on.
OR, take your mind off of this subject and focus on things that are easier for you to feel better or good about.
Or meditate.
Or take a nap, if your negative momentum is so strong you cannot find better feeling thoughts at all
and it feels like it's spiraling out of control.
