Re: Clarification on 'meant to be' / manifesting the same partner again

Please help me clear up doubt in relation to the Truth.  So, if we are constantly changing from within, doesn't the external have to change along with that, and that's why relationships change?  Doesn't everyone who comes into our lives teach us things and then we continue to meet more new people as part of our own evolution?

If we would change constantly, the external reality would reflect that, but most of us think the same thoughts and have the same emotional response their whole life, so they get the same results their whole life. They believe that they are lucky sometimes, so they experience some positive surprises once in a while, but overall they get what they expect.

I don't exactly know what you mean by changes in relationships, but when it comes to romantic relationships and I look back, I can see that in the beginning, I was focused only on the good things. After a while, I started to focus on the bad things and in the last days of the relationship, I couldn't even see much positive in the other. I had the belief that relationships get worse with time, but it's all LoA. Watch your focus and you know why you meet certain people and why they behave towards you as they do.

Thank you Sanshi, you're awesome! Yes, I think that's what can turn the relationships sour, its all to do with our focus and also judgment.  And familiarity, taking things for granted.  That's why most of us are here because we now appreciate all the positive aspects, the greater good that we had in the relationship.  That's what's wonderful about Veronica and her teaching because we let go of the past which was created by past thinking and then start thinking in a whole new way about our love and by feeling good ourselves and then focussing on them, they must orient themselves back into alignment with our new frequency?

Yes, that's so true, we always get far 'more' of what our initial expectation/intention was!!!

Thanks, my awesomeness training is very hard right now. ;D

You are right and I think that judgment, familiarity and taking things for granted are all sub-categories of wrong focus. When you judge, you focus on things you don't like, if you (think you) know your partner TOO well, you stop focusing on the things you like about him. If you take things for granted, you stop appreciating and because you have to think something, you fill the void with negative thoughts - so, wrong focus again.

There is really no point in holding on to the past. It's gone. You can't see it, hear it, touch it. Why should it be more important than your desired reality? It's equally real/unreal and when that's the case and you like your desired reality more than your past, then why focusing on the past?

I think no one here can exactly say how this attracting someone specific really works, we only can guess. Maybe you read my post about vibration a few days ago? I talked about vibrational dissonance and how it hurts when it comes to music. I like this image and I think it really could be the same thing with the vibration of another person. They feel the discord between their vibration and your new vibration. Some people are more sensitive to energy and can't stand it very long. Others can put up with it a bit longer, but eventually they have to match your frequency, you just have to hold it long enough. Hm...when I think about it..it sounds a little like torture.

Hm yes, I get your music analogy, I've definately heard that before about people moving away from the high vibrations because it's just too uncomfortable for them or brings up too much of their own issues.  Can you link me to your post?
