Hi Lovely people
I have a couple of questions about something. You know in lanies' book she says something about doing the visualisations/RS but then being in a place of 'couldn't care less' if he/she comes back. What she's really talking about there is non attachment to the outcome and letting go, and I totally get that and practise it. However, she also says something about if 'its meant to be' it will happen. So my query today is - How do we know the universe doesn't have something/someone else much more perfect for us lined up? Also, I remember Abe Hicks saying that your relationships and the love you create within them causes you both to grow and expand and also defiine new preferences. So, doesn't this mean that the relationship has served us and then because of our growth, that we're somehow meant to move forward??? And that would mean that who you've become will attract a new vibration/person that is more of a match to the new you? And because we are constantly growing/expanding, our partners have to change???
But then, given that we are deliberate creators with the power to change ANY situation around, if we change our own vibration and still have the intent to be with the SAME partner we've been with (but in a higher vibrational reality with them) then the universe can magically transform that relationship into the one of our dreams anyway??? So, is it true that as we are raising our vibrations through self love, the person we've been with has to match us purely because of our 'intent' and loving 'focus' on them?
Thoughts please?

The universe is not your mother who always knows who is best for you. You are the creator of your experience, and when you look at your life, the universe isn't always taking care of you. You have to take care of yourself by controlling your thoughts. I completely disagree with Lanie when it comes to "meant to be". Either there is "meant to be" or there is LoA. I see LoA working every day, so I can rule "meant to be" out. The reason why so many people fail is not that it isn't meant to be. It's because they are not strong enough mentally and are more observer than creator (I'm still thinking that through but that is my conclusion for now). Meant to be is a excuse for people who are still not willing to take responsibility.
You can create everything you want. If you want this one person, you can have this one person. If you think there could be someone better you are creating someone better with this thought. If you order "this person or someone better" and have much resistance towards your person, but not so much resistance towards someone better, you probably get someone better, if you can manage your vibration.
I don't really like the "couldn't care less" thing. From my perspective, it's more that you feel that you already have this person and that's the reason you don't care about getting them. Lanie has her knowledge from Neville and Neville never talked about meant to be or don't care for your desire. That are all interpretations and sometimes it's best to go to the primary source to avoid distortion.

Wow, thank you so much Sanshi, that really helps to clear things up a bit!!! What you said makes sense to me, there can be varying thoughts about how it all works sometimes, or as you say, just mixed interpretations on it. I guess it's coz there are still things that I 'surrender' to the universe? And if the universe works out the 'hows' and details, then in someway we are still allowing the universe to do things for us???
But yeah, its just down to our thinking mostly if we fully embrace that we are indeed the ones creating!

It seems that its our preferences that arise are what's actually creating? or our judgements? e.g I can see how I manifested what happened because of my judgements or fears. And makes you realise how important it is to keep ignoring the current conditions and stay focussed on the good, the wanted aspects at all times

Ah, I forgot one thing. Sure, there are relationships that are finished. You can't longer learn from them, but I think when that is the case, you don't longer have the desire to be with this person. If Abraham is right then every desire serves the expansion of the universe. That means in reverse that there can't be a desire that don't help the universe to expand. The desire behind all desires is expansion. So expansion is the very nature of every desire (wow, it gets philosophical here).
If you have to learn a lesson, you will. If it's not with your person, the next person will show up who is reflecting your thoughts exactly like your old person did. This recurring patterns in relationships are nothing special. I think it has happened to everybody to some degree. It happens again and again until you change yourself. But it's completely up to you, if you decide to learn your lesson with your old person or with a new one.
I personally believe that the person HAS to come even though I have my doubting moments sometimes. But LoA wouldn't make any sense if it wouldn't be possible to attract a relationship with a person. All LoA teachings say that there is NO limit. The Bible doesn't say: "Everything is possible as long as it doesn't involve a specific person", Neville says that everything is possible, Abraham says that every desire can be realised, Bashar says it and many people are living proof that it is possible. Have you ever met a Cherished-like person who failed? I haven't. I haven't seen anybody with the right mindset fail.

I think that you put things into your vortex (to put it in Abrahams words) that you don't even realise that are there. That's why it seems as if the universe would work out the details, but it just knows your preferences better than you do (it is actually you). I experienced that with a job. I thought I wanted to work as a programmer alongside with my studies. After a while, I thought it would be nice to work for my special field at university (psychology - so no obvious link between the two desires). Guess what? I'm now a programmer and working on a psychological project at university. I could have never ever figured this out with my logical reasoning. I thought it would be impossible to combine the two. But it was both in my vortex and the universe put it together. I think, it works that way in most cases or maybe in every case. You see something, you like it, you forget it (but you put it in your vortex) and then it shows up and you don't see the connection.

Right, so in that case, there is still an element of surprise in life, e.g those unexpected things that just happen, could be a person, a job etc we don't always know whats best for us, do we? Or maybe it was just a flash of a thought at some point.

Also, if we're continually on a path of improving every aspect of our lives, we're always looking for more in some way, an improvement on the current reality?

Please help me clear up doubt in relation to the Truth. So, if we are constantly changing from within, doesn't the external have to change along with that, and that's why relationships change? Doesn't everyone who comes into our lives teach us things and then we continue to meet more new people as part of our own evolution?

Let me put it a bit differently: We never know what's the best that is possible. Our imagination is limited and in my experience, it often comes FAR better than I expect it when it comes to manifestation. It's like "You want a piece of chocolate? Here, 3 pieces for you." And yes, there will always be surprises. Wouldn't it else be boring after a while? But I think if you can manage to train your awareness, the surprises become less, because you know what pieces you put into your vortex.
