The past

Hi everyone!

I know when trying to attract back your ex, it is important to only focus on your new, better relationship with them and to not think on the past at all. But, what if you are struggling with letting go of all the bad things that have happened? What if your relationship with them has left you feeling insecure, uncomfortable, and fearful of things falling apart again?

I do desire to have this person back and to have a much better relationship with them than before, but because you do have a past with an ex, it seems like letting go in order to manifest might be a struggle for some people. It can be an obstacle within yourself.

I have read LoA teachings that have talked of changing past events in your mind in order to feel better about them. Some say that doing this actually changes the past. But, the goal is to change the energy surrounding the past event so that it isn't bothersome anymore.

I was wondering... Could this be done while doing the 25 Day Challenge? If I worked on changing a few past events in my mind for a few minutes every day, and then didn't focus on the past at all otherwise? I just don't want to "mess things up"! Also, I feel this might help with becoming the best version of myself I can be...

Any feedback is appreciated!

Hi, welcome! So one thing I have been told over and over again was to relax! You cannot mess up if you relax.

I did alot of messing up in the beginning over thinking things and it didn't help. Me and my ex are not back together but 4 months ago we were not speaking to each other, now we speak everyday, even if we are arguing, so that is progress!

During the 25 days forget the past! The relationship you had is over. Done! Gonzo! Never to return again! This is the part that hurts right, nope in retrospect its the best part.

You get a REDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! During the process, you'll learn to STOP being a Historian and START being Psychic. You are going to realize that thinking of the past, even if it is great stuff will quickly turn into thinking of the bad too. So try to give your brain a break and create what you want and think about that...You cannot correct the past. But you can emotionally erase the current situation by planning for the future

Ok, so basically you're saying that this feeling will go away on its own during the process? I certainly hope so because right now it feels like a big blockage!

Something else that will help is to focus on the now. Here is a quote for you, "If you are depressed you are living in the past, if you are anxious you are living in the future and if you are at peace you are living in the present."

Nothing changes without work but you'll be so busy working... some days you'll forget to think if him specifically.

I still have contact because we have a kid but I believe I'd be skipping through life because everyday it's like packing your bag for a trip...your so busy preparing for your trip you're too excited and anxious to keep thinking of the past.


One cool video that changed my perspective was Bashar on Circumstances . It's in the video area of the forum.. WATCH it! He us completely weird at first BUT so door...it helps to recognize right now doesn't matter...neither does the past... ONLY state of being!

I handed over the past to the universe, I rarely think about how things were, just be now, you have a fresh start with them.Β  Let go and relax and ask that all is dissolved, all is healed and then visualise yourselves happy and as you want to see yourselves now.Β  It really works!
